How Public Domain Articles Can
Send Your Income Soaring
Who Needs Article Marketers?
Its no secret that most webmasters find writing articles to be nothing less than a tedious task. They dread writing
articles for a number of reasons. Primarily because maintaining a website and writing are essentially two totally
different careers.
Dwell on this for a moment; the web designer has to some
degree or another, learn and master: HTML, CSS, scripts, Dream Weaver, FTP, PHP, keyword density, search engine
rules, web design, web hosting, ISP rules and domain name guidelines, and that is the short list.
If they write the content for their websites, they will have
to switch gears and learn and master: sentence syntax, quotations, subject matter research, grammatical errors,
spelling, paraphrasing and summarizing. That is also the short list.
Learning both of those careers is like asking a person to be
a heart surgeon while at the same to be a certified radiation engineer for nuclear submarines. It’s a bit much.
Probably too much!
Now you can see why article marketing is so vitally
important.
Webmasters, online marketers, bloggers, ezines, forums and
information based websites need you! So the million-dollar question is, “How do you put out a mass number of
articles on a consistent basis?”
I could ask another way, “How do some writers put out 20 to
30 articles per week while others struggle with maybe two per week or less?” One of the answers is: public
domain.
What is Public Domain? Public domain refers to the status of a work having no copyright protection
and, therefore, belonging to the world. When a work is "in" or has "fallen into" public domain it means it is
available for unrestricted use by anyone. Permission and/or payment are not required for use. Except with respect
to certain foreign-originated works eligible for restoration of copyright, once a work falls into the public
domain, the owner can never recapture it.
Some writings end up in public domain because the author has
passed. Others end up in public domain because the authors have declared their works to be public domain, which
means anybody can use them for whatever purpose they want.
While most authors choose to copyright their work, there are
also a number who don't mind sharing their intellectual properties. Public domain articles are not owned by anybody
and can be used and abused by anyone. The writers have waived their rights to their works and they are out there
for the public to make use of.
Using Public Domain Articles To Your Advantage
You can use public domain articles to help you write your articles. With the public domain articles, you can simply
edit them to your own style and rewrite them as you please to make them suitable for your needs. The thought
process is already laid out; it’s just a matter of finding the right articles with the topics or subjects you
need.
That means you don't have to start from scratch, scouring
the Internet and researching at the library for hours on end for subject material. This is probably the fastest way
to write a mass number of articles. For webmasters who are looking for articles for content and to generate a high
ranking for their website in search engine results, they can just modify the articles by infusing keywords and
keyword phrases related to their site.
One great factor in using public domain articles as your
launching pad for your site or for any project is that you save a lot of money. You dismiss the need to hire
experienced and seasoned writers. While a single five hundred worded article would only set you back about ten to
twenty dollars, this cost will drastically increase when you need hundreds of articles to fill the needs of your
site.
For those who need articles to generate newsletters or
blogs, public domain articles will be very beneficial. You don’t need to pay contributors or writers to write
articles for your newsletter or blog. You can fill all the pages without any cost or the worry of being sued and
sought after by the authors for copyright infringement. You can simply copy the articles and place them in your
newsletter, blog and e-zine.
Welcome To My Domain
Public domain articles are a virtual untapped resource that many writers fail to realize the true value of. They
are a great alternative for those who are cash strapped as well as those who do not have the time nor the skills to
do their articles for themselves.
Searching for public domain articles is as easy as 1 – 2 –
3. You can search for them in search engines and do searches in many directories for the topic or subject that you
need. Read them and simply copy and paste them to a word processing program and edit them to suit your
needs.
